IE'S WLAN ASSESSMENT

The demands on your wireless network

Wi-Fi networks have become a mission critical resource for most organizations today. Organizational mobile collaboration requirements, IoT device adoption, manufacturing/distribution automation, educational student learning, healthcare patient care and records solutions are just a few of the multitude of use cases placing mobile connectivity at the forefront of organizational IT. Organizations must adhere to various security and compliance requirements that ensure data privacy of their staff and customers and, most importantly, keep their data and their network as secure as possible while allowing for end user mobility.

WLAN Assessment

IE has the expertise to meet the growing demands of the wireless networks needed today. Our WLAN Assessment offering is based on a structured fixed fee agreement which allows IE to assist your organization in the way that is most beneficial to you. We can evaluate your current WLAN configuration and performance, evaluate applications and expectations affecting WLAN SLAs, determine gaps in coverage and performance, design a purpose- built WLAN to meet your business requirements, and offer continuing levels of support and guidance as your network and use case requirements expand.

IE’s WLAN assessment offering is a fixed fee service allowing our customers to have confidence that the WLAN is performing at the level required to meet the day-to-day needs of the use cases identified. Our WLAN Assessments provide both tactical and strategic decision-making information about your organization’s current and future state WLAN, tools, and personnel in a timely manner using IE’s knowledge of your industry, evolving mobility use cases and industry technology standards, as well as technological road mapping, and accepted and proven WLAN best practices.

Typically, a WLAN Assessment will be completed for the entirety of the organization once every three years with individual site and use case specific assessments performed as required based upon your needs. During these periodic assessments, action plans will be developed and timelines established to mature the hardware/software solutions, people, processes, and tools needed to provide enterprise-grade WLAN services in your environment.
