Job Description

We’re looking for an organized, passionate, and efficient Digital and Field Marketing Specialist with experience working for or with an IT Solution Provider, Value Added Reseller or Managed IT Service Provider, or IT Consultant. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, detail oriented, and deadline driven. This job will be heavily focused on supporting all digital and virtual aspects of marketing. They’ll need to be comfortable working with technology and be proficient with MarTech and workflow platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, Canva, Trello, SharePoint, and Webex Teams. This person will also have a lot of interaction with our sales team, so they need to be personable, focused, and service/support minded. The team needs someone who is looking to put down roots with an organization, can manage their time wisely, work quickly and efficiently, and can take ownership of their job responsibilities. This candidate MUST have the ability to problem solve and be willing to evolve their processes to achieve optimal efficiency and work quality.

Responsibilities Team Experience

What You'll Do

  •  Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Help own and organize trade show events including logistics, communications with sales team, attending trade shows to facilitate their success (in-person, virtual, or hybrid), and entering and tracking MQLs in Salesforce, including extensive communication and follow-up around MQL conversions and campaign tagging with the sales team
  • Assist with Salesforce clean-up and maintenance
  • Keep and update inventory for marketing promo items
  • PPT Guru! Has an eye for design and can help prepare and edit customer-facing and internal presentations
  • Stage, schedule, and publish IE blog posts using HubSpot’s blog editor
  • Schedule and publish weekly social media posts using HubSpot’s social media scheduler
  • Assist with the creation and updating of IE’s corporate website and landing pages using HubSpot’s CMS
  • Create promotional images for social, email, office digital signage, website and landing pages
  • Has an eagle eye for copy editing (blogs, emails, web pages, landing pages, and social media) and can assist with edits as a part of the staging and production process
  • Support and assist marketing executives (as needed) in organizing various internal events and employee engagement projects

The Digital and Field Marketing Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing, and has collaborative relationships with Sales, Pre-Sales, Project Managers, Engineers, Client Services, and Accounting.







What We're Looking for

  • Experience working for or with an IT Solution Provider, Value-Added Reseller or Managed IT Service Provider, or IT Consultant
  • Proven capability as a digital field and marketing specialist
  • Must be available for heavy travel to trade shows throughout the year while still juggling other marketing support responsibilities
  • Hybrid Work Model: Marketing technology and hybrid work are second nature to you!
  • The ability to be productive and present, no matter your physical location
  • Two plus years of experience using HubSpot and Inbound Marketing Principles, including extensive experience with HubSpot’s CMS for web and landing pages
  • Previous experience with creating graphics, images, and videos in Canva
  • Video creation and editing in Canva, Animoto, and Camtasia, or other similar platforms
  • Solid understanding of design for both digital and print
  • Excellent knowledge of Salesforce
  • Skilled in MS Office Suites
  • Exquisite communication and people skills
  • Well-organized with a service approach
  • Project Management skills for internal marketing team efforts surrounding events to ensure departmental organization and task distribution
  • Proven ability to multi-task and adhere to both internal and external deadlines
  • Associate or Bachelor’s in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Advertising, Hospitality, or relevant field is a strong advantage. Combination of college and experience will be considered.

The compensation range for this role is $45K to $60K. The total on-target earnings will be based on the candidate’s experience, work history, overall fit for the position, and attainment of defined metrics. IE offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance and matching 401K.
