Job Description

The Client Services Representative is a member of the CSR Team and plays a pivotal role in the creation of customer quotes and general support of the assigned Account Managers and their clients. Use of, and strong familiarity with vendor product configuration tools, order-entry and other transactional support, in addition to general conversancy with industry standards and norms is essential. Candidates should also excel at attention to detail and working within a fast-paced environment.

Success in this position is measured by the ability to fulfill customers’ needs by effectively communicating with all parties to ideal solution/resolution. A successful candidate will have a solid technical affinity, strong communication and organizational skills and be comfortable speaking with Account Executives, Customers, and Sales Support colleagues. This position is best suited for someone who is organized and capable of working efficiently on their own without supervision and within a team.

Responsibilities Team Experience

What You'll Do

  • Respond to and completing all incoming quote requests in a timely manner for products and attached services from assigned customers and account managers.
  • Receive, validate and process purchase orders for product with attached services.
  • Respond to incoming calls from customers regarding product availability, order status, and invoicing/billing questions.
  • Provide back-up support to other CSRs when needed.
  • Demonstrate Cisco Commerce Workspace knowledge (building estimates, processing orders, opening cases).
  • Verify and ensure accuracy of all customer POs with IE terms &  conditions.
  • Place, manage and expedite orders based on product availability and shipping requirements.
  • Coordinate and submit RMA requests from customers with RMA department.
  • Provide outside sales and customers with order status.
  • Generate weekly status reporting for designated accounts.
  • Work with management to ensure that departmental goals are met.
  • Validate and reconcile POs against quote to ensure order accuracy.
  • Meet or exceed established guidelines for processing quote requests and purchase orders.

Who You'll Work With

The Client Services Representative reports to the Client Services Manager, and has collaborative relationships with Sales, Client Services, Vendors, & Customers.







What We're Looking for

  • Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, and/or 3-5 years of experience serving in a sales support capacity for a Technology Solution Integrator (preferably Cisco).
  • Analytical approach with strong problem solving & critical thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Individual must have the ability to handle multiple tasks/requests in a fast-paced, high transactional environment.
  • Quick learner, self-motivated, positive attitude, flexible and adaptable; ability to change priorities quickly & have strong follow-up skills.
  • Proactive, driven and positive work attitude.
  • Good communications skills both oral and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; strong, intermediate MS Excel skills & knowledge.
  • Salesforce experience and knowledge of the tool.
  • Desire and ability to learn and maintain technical knowledge.
  • Quickbooks Enterprise Edition experience preferred.
