Descriptions
CVoice - This
comprehensive Authorized Cisco CVOICE course introduces you
to the latest Voice over IP technologies from Cisco and
gives you the skills and techniques to optimize your Cisco
hardware for real performance and savings. Learn to
configure voice interfaces on Cisco equipment to enable
connections to traditional, non-packetized telephony
equipment. Apply the fundamental knowledge of VoIP to dial
plans and enterprise and service provider applications.
Network professionals interested in deploying
state-of-the-art QoS techniques to support multimedia
traffic and technical professionals responsible for VoIP
including voice/data integration will benefit from this
course. This course is recommended for technical
professionals pursuing CCVP certification or any of the four
Cisco IP Specialist Certifications.
CIPT1 (CallManager) - CIPT1 (Cisco IP Telephony
Part 1) is a Cisco authorized course in which you
will learn to fully leverage the use of Cisco's CallManager
4.1 and IP telephones. By learning to build, manage, and
troubleshoot campus and multi-site WAN IP telephony
solutions, you can deploy the right network infrastructure
to optimize the performance of your network. This course is
intended for network professionals who install, configure,
and manage Cisco IP Telephony solutions.
Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices -
This five day course focuses on using Cisco Catalyst
switches and Cisco routers connected in local-area networks
(LANs) and wide-area networks (WANs) typically found at
small to medium network sites. Upon completion of this
training course, you will be able to select, connect,
configure, and troubleshoot the various Cisco networking
devices.
Securing Networks with Pix and ASA -
This Authorized Cisco, SNPA (Securing Networks with PIX and
ASA) course teaches the knowledge and skills needed to
configure, maintain, and operate Cisco PIX 500 Series
Security Appliances and Cisco ASA 5500 Series Adaptive
Security Appliances. SNPA is recommended training for the
Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) certification.
Among other skills, customers will learn to describe the
Security Appliance features, models, components, and
benefits, to discuss Security Appliance interface security
levels, to configure a Security Appliance for basic network
connectivity, and to configure the Security Appliance for
syslog services.
