Internetwork Engineering™ (IE) Achieves Cisco Master Unified Communications Specialization in USA

Designation Recognizes Channel Partners with Highest Level of Unified Communication Expertise, Lifecycle Services and Success in Sales

Charlotte, NC - November 30th, 2011 - Internetwork Engineering™ (IE) announced today it has achieved the Master Unified Communications Specialization from Cisco™. This certification recognizes IE as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deploy and support highly sophisticated applications-based Cisco Unified Communications solutions.

"I have been involved in managing many Cisco programmatic requirements, certifications, and specializations in the last 10 years, but this is personally my proudest moment," said Chuck Steiner, President and CTO. To achieve the Master Unified Communications Specialization, partners must attain the Advanced Unified Communications Specialization and meet a range of stringent requirements demonstrating mastery of extensive sales, technical, and services capabilities. Furthermore, master specialized partners must possess a number of Cisco and industry-standard technical certifications; provide customer references that document Cisco-prescribed design and deployment capabilities, and show evidence that they have the infrastructure to support a full menu of Lifecycle Services offerings and capabilities.

This specialization is the highest level of certification Cisco offers - to date, there are only 23 partners in the US who have the Master UC and Gold certifications in addition to Cisco's Customer Satisfaction Excellence award. IE is the only partner headquartered in the Mid-Atlantic to have accomplished this.

Internetwork Engineering™ (IE) and Cisco Bring New Videoconference Capability to NCHICA Office

Charlotte, NC (October 13, 2011) - Thanks to the contributions of Internetwork Engineering™ (IE) and Cisco, NCHICA (the NC Healthcare Information & Communication Alliance) has deployed state-of-the-art videoconferencing capability at their office in Durham, NC. The Cisco Profile 52 Dual TelePresence™ videoconferencing system was recently inaugurated during the organization's CIO Roundtable with a remote presentation by Arlo Jennings, CIO of Mission Health System from Asheville, NC.

NCHICA is a nonprofit consortium of over 240 organizations dedicated to improving healthcare in North Carolina by accelerating the adoption of information technology and enabling policies.
